![]() I guess MaskMe users are supposed to migrate to the allegedly new and improved Blur but you can’t do that if you don’t have your MaskMe password that those of us who started using it in the beginning were never asked to make in the first place! What an incompetent, unprofessional mess. But, at some point they decided to lock everything behind a password that I didn’t create nor was ever told to create. The problem? Well, when I started using MaskMe, you were never asked to create one, the thing just worked. When I click on the MaskMe icon in Firefox, it no longer takes me to my homepage where my passwords are SUPPOSED to be but to a page telling me to log in to my account with my password. Luckily, I was just smart enough to physically write down all but one of them. I was dumb enough to “trust” MaskMe as a password manager and now it’s holding passwords hostage. Use a password generator but never a manager. Don’t blame the web sites for getting hacked – it’s going to happen – just make sure the web sites have less of your information so when they get hacked, your account isn’t valuable to the hackers.
